Ronnie Burrage is CEO of the World Rhythm Academy and RoBurrage Productions.  An artist, producer, and composer, Ronnie has played with leading figures like Wayne Shorter, Sonny Rollins, Pat Metheny, Jaco Pastorius, McCoy Tyner, and Jackie McLean and featured on more than 170 recordings.  He has toured on four continents playing music everywhere from Siberia to South Africa to Japan.  His latest production is “Dance of the Great Spirit."

Ronnie is also an influential teacher currently serving as a Professor of Music at CUNY Brooklyn Conservatory and SUNY Old Westbury College where he leads one of the most dynamic programs of music history and culture in the US.  Previous positions include Penn State University and The University of the Arts.

A youth mentor and adviser, Mr. Burrage is also active as a social justice leader in the New York City boroughs of Brooklyn and the Bronx as well as St. Louis, MO.  He was a founding board member of Men of Valor whose mission aims to help men of color reintegrate successfully as fathers and into productive community building work.
