Jesse Dean

Jesse Dean is the marketing and communications manager at ReServe. He joined ReServe in 2009 after working nearly a decade in the for-profit sector while attending school. In 2008, Jesse earned a B.A. with honors in Sociology from Columbia University, where he focused his studies in poverty and public policy. He completed a senior thesis that compared the social and economic characteristics of the Blackfeet and Flathead Indian Reservations in Montana and examined the economic impact to reservation Indians of a non-Indian majority living and working on the Flathead Reservation. In 2005, Jesse earned an A.A. with honors in Writing and Literature from the Borough of Manhattan Community College (CUNY). Jesse also serves as a Board Trustee for the Columbia Pride Alumni Association and enjoys cooking with local ingredients and running in marathons.
