Hari Acharya

Hari currently works as the Program Coordinator at Doctors of the World USA.

Prior to this, Hari worked with two Bhutanese human rights organizations in Nepal. He was a Coordinator for Association of Human Rights Activists Bhutan (AHURA-BHUTAN) for three years. He was the International Secretary for Youth Organization of Bhutan for another three years.  He continues to work as an advocate for the Bhutanese refugees in the United States. 

In addition to participating in Global Youth Connect's global human rights learning community in 2000, he consulted for GYC’s first youth delegation to the Bhutanese refugee camps in Nepal.

Hari holds a Masters in Public Administration from the Evergreen State College in WA and a BA Honors in English Literature from the St. Joseph’s College in Darjeeling, India.
